Do you want a ceiling fan with a whisper-quiet motor?
Robert from CeilingFan.com is here to show the differences between the motors.

There are essentially two types of motors: the spinner motor, where the whole motor spins, and then there's the stationary rubber flywheel motor, where the flywheel spins. The big difference between the two is the spinner motor is a metal-to-metal connection, where the rubber flywheel motor is a metal-to-rubber connection. This will be the quietest motor on the market, and this is the motor I recommend for you.
