Return
Policy
Defective
Merchandise:
In the unlikely event that you receive defective merchandise, you must
receive a return goods authorization number from a Ceiling Fan .com
associate, and items must be returned within 30 days of receipt. If
merchandise is returned without a return goods authorization number
it will be charged a 15% restocking fee. Merchandise must be returned
and prepaid by the customer. We do not issue "Call
Tags" for defective merchandise. Pending on evalutions of
our authorized service technicians we will replace the product if defective.
Inspect
Your Merchandise:
Shipping charges are customer's(your) responsibility. Inspect packages
upon arrival for damage. If there are any damages, refuse shipment and
we will take care of replacing your order. Any damaged product discovered
after receiving the package will be the customer's responsibility to
ship back for replacement.
Non-Defective
Merchandise:
When no error was made on our part, you must contact a Cailingfan.com
sales associate. We will, at our discretion, issue a returned goods
authorization number. Merchandise returned without our permission, subject
to our inspection, will be accepted for credit less a 15% restocking
fee. Returned merchandise must be freight prepaid
by the customer. All merchandise must be returned undamaged,
unused, and in its original packaging. If merchandise is used or has
been installed, there will be a 30% restocking fee.
Custom
Orders:
Orders on merchandise we don't stock are considered custom orders and
are non-cancelable and non-refundable after 3 days from the time of
purchase. There can be no exceptions to this rule.
Craftmade,Matthews-Gerbar, and Hunter are companies where any fan is
considered Custom Order.
Cancelled
Orders:
If no portion of your order has shipped you may cancel your order within
72 hours of the time the order is placed. Cancellations may be made
via e-mail or telephone.
Payment:
Full and Deposit
Full-
Payment is charged in full at the time the order is placed. If your
merchandise is not in our stock a special order will be placed immediately,
thereby guaranteeing the price you were quoted.
Deposit-
Some large orders may require substantial lead time and leaving a deposit
will get the ball rolling. Deposits are 25% of total price and non-refundable.
The full amount is due before any packages will be shipped.
Policy
Agreement:
You have up to the time you receive your package to dispute any of our
policies. When you receive and sign for your package, if no dispute
is emailed to webmaster@Ceilingfan.com, it is understood that you agree
to follow our policies.
