Outdoor Flush Mount fans are often used in patios with low ceilings. Damp rated fans need to be in a covered location and are designed to handle damp air but cannot take direct water. They are also useful in bathrooms or laundry rooms with damp air. Wet rated flush mount fans can be exposed directly to rain and can even be washed off with a garden hose.
