Hunter invented the ceiling fan in 1886. What you see here is a replica of one of the very first ceiling fans ever made. The classic 2 blade design was how fans were originally made. The motor housing is sand cast with intricate detail and the downrod sleeve has an old fashioned rope design. If you admire authentic turn of the century design, you cannot get any closer than the 1886 Limited Edition..it is the real Macoy. Requires a minimum ceiling height of 9 feet.
