With a sleek modern silhouette, a DC motor and super energy-efficiency, the Maverick ceiling fan from Monte Carlo features softly rounded blades and elegantly simple housing. Unlike many other fans of this style, Monte Carlo uses hand carved solid balsa wood blades instead of plastic, so the fan has a real look of quality and durability. Balsa wood is an excellent material for fans with larger blade spans because it is light weight and can be carved into a more aerodynamic shape that provides a much stronger breeze than flat blades. It also is resists cracking and warping from moisture, making it a great choice for both indoor and outdoor damp locations. Maverick is available in 52, 60 and 70 inch blade sweeps with a 3-blade design that delivers a distinct profile. Maverick includes a hand-held remote, and is available with either a brushed steel or matte black housing finish. Both versions include the dark walnut finished, hand-carved balsa wood blades. Maverick fans are damp-rated, and may be used indoors and in covered outdoor spaces.
